1954 | Founded "Kannon Jikeikai" (the predecessor of Agon Shu) |
1984 | Conducted the Aura Festival World Peace Prayer Service with His Holiness the Dalai Lama XIV at Nippon Budokan. |
1985 | 400 members of Agon Shu participate in a world peace prayer service at the Vatican. Had a special audience with Pope John Paul II. Held a joint prayer service with Catholics at San Clement Church. |
1986 | Received Shinsei Busshari (true relics of the Buddha) from the government of Sri Lanka. |
1988 | Held the Islamic-Buddhist Forum on World Peace in Kyoto with the participation of Dr. Nemr and other prominent Islamic scholars. |
1990 | Attended the 4th Peace Conference of World Religious Leaders. Had a special audience with Pope John Paul II. |
1991 | Completed the Agon Shu Main Temple: Shakazan Daibodaiji in Yamashina, Kyoto. |
1996 | Conducted fire rites dedicated to world peace as part of the consecrating ceremony of the Mongolian National Eleven-Faced Kannon Image. Raining after the ceremony, a local newspaper reports it as welcome rain helping the people from drought and forest fire. |
2000 | Conducted fire rites and held a lecture in New York (Unitarian Church). |
2001 | Conducted fire rites and held a lecture in New York (Riverside Church). |
2003 | Conducted fire rites in Paris (Parc du Champs de Mars). |
2004 | Conducted fire rites in the midtown area of Tokyo. |
2005 | Conducted fire rites on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Atomic Air Raid in Hiroshima (Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park). |
2006 | Conducted fire rites at Auschwitz dedicated to world peace. Received a decoration (“Konju Hosho ” Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon). |
2007 | Conducted fire rites dedicated to the departed souls of victims in the concentration camps in Siberia and for world peace. |
2008 | Conducted fire rites in celebration of the 60th anniversary of foundation of Israel and for world peace. |
2009 | Conducted fire rites in Guadalcanal dedicated to the departed souls of the war dead in South Pacific and for world peace. |
2010 | Held “Kyoto Buddhist Music Festival 2010 – inori (prayer) -” Held Agon-Maya Joint Fire Rites Ceremony for World Peace at the 2nd One Peace Live Aura Festival |
